A little about my background:

My long term interest in the study of human nature has led me in many interesting directions.  Much of my education has included the study of different fields related to life, motivation, relationships, art, motorcycle history and the way people typically think and respond to life.  My interests are primarily practical rather than academic!

Check out my study on "the traits of highly successful people:"  I am not arguing that all of what these leaders did or achieved was good, just that their are principles which were behind there ability to succeed and get results.  My hope is that my findings might encourage someone to develop skills which would help tham along in life and would help them to use their abilities for noble goals rather than selfish ones: www.markbayerquotes.mysite.com/contact.html   What a great goal is that of finding your "gifts" and developing them!

Much of my life work has been related to teaching, research, counseling, art, and the study of the motorcycle.  I have been retired since 2012 and have found myself as busy as when I was working.  Since my retirement, I have been free to follow what interests I wish.  I especially enjoy researching formal topics of personal interest and helping others reach their personal goals.

It is important to develop your interests and it is through the process of doing so that you will find more!

Early in 2011, I led a group of motorcycle historians/enthusiasts into a storage room at the Kansas City Museum to view the first motorcycle ridden in Kansas City.  It is the O.J. Plummer dating to around 1903.  This visit along with a year of study and research prior to this visit led to a major article in the "Antique Motorcycle," an AMCA publication.  The article was in the spring of 2012 issue.  Check out the YOUTUBE video by going to O.J. Plummer motorcycle!
